TAPinto: ‘Extraordinary Women' Collect and Donate Over 200 Books for Paterson's Youngest Learners'




PATERSON, NJ - A nationwide effort by The Links, Incorporated to collect and donate at least 7,500 new or gently used reading and math books for pre-K -3rd graders has had an impact on Paterson.


Established in 1946, and now boasting 299 chapters in 41 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, and the United Kingdom, The Links, Incorporated is one of the nation’s oldest and largest volunteer service organizations of extraordinary women who are committed to enriching, sustaining and ensuring the culture and economic survival of African Americans and other persons of African ancestry.


On Friday, one of The Links newest chapters, Passaic County, donated more than 200 books to the Bergen County Community Action Partnership's Eastside Head Start. CLICK HERE TO READ MORE
