Early Childhood Education

At GBCA Head Start/Early Head Start, our goal is to not only get your child ready for kindergarten, but to prepare your entire family for life beyond the program. Our extensive services and resources range from early childhood education to health, nutrition, parent education, family counseling, financial counseling, and more.

Adult Education & Training

Utility Assistance

The Education and Training Center offers skills and knowledge to lower-income adults which will help them better perform daily activities of living, achieve greater success in the job market, and support their desire for a better future in the USA.

Home energy assistance programs help income-qualified individuals experiencing a financial challenge pay their energy bill and remain in their home.

Housing/Financial Counseling

We help individuals and families gain greater stability in their financial lives through financial literacy education and housing counseling. We also have an affiliated credit union, 1st Bergen Federal Credit Union, open to all who live, work, worship, volunteer, or conduct business in Bergen County.

CHIP (Affordable Housing)

Business Opportunities

GBCA provides affordable housing for low and moderate income persons, first-time home buyers, and individuals with special needs by construction and renovating residences for multiple dwelling unit rentals and for single family ownership.

A progressive not-for-profit company, GBCA makes strategic investments in the community through innovative business ventures such as community redevelopment, solar energy and a federal credit union.
